Original Outdoors is an established outdoor training company based in North Wales, providing courses and activities for both novice and experienced clients. We use enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional outdoor instructors to provide you with an enjoyable and memorable learning experience. We offer a wide range of activities and courses, many of which can be adapted to provide a bespoke event for you, your friends and family or your company.

We are based near Ruthin, at the foot of Moel Famau and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB and within easy reach of the Snowdonia National Park. We have access to privately owned land on which we run our courses, ensuring that your experience is unique and unspoiled.

We also create content centred around the outdoors and adventure. We host and produce podcasts about topics such as wild and sustainable food, Search and Rescue, and operating in outdoor spaces and the more wild areas of our planet. We create videos full of our experience and knowledge, some instructional, others focused more on entertainment and experience sharing.
